Probably the world’s most famous white wine grape, Chardonnay is a fuller-bodied, all-round superstar. Depending on where it’s grown, flavours can range from pear and limestone, to pineapple and oak. Opinion is definitely split on who holds the crown for the world’s best Chardonnay; but France, the USA and Australia are all definite contenders.
