Rondo is a fairly new grape, only coming into existence in 1964 after a crossing of St Laurent and Zarya Severa. Due to its great ability to resist frost, it’s found a lot of success in the cool-cold climate regions of Hungary, the UK and Germany, where it's mainly used as a blending partner for rosé.
