Sagrantino

Sagrantino is an Italian grape native to the central region of Umbria, and produces dark and dusky red wines. It’s also a grape which responds well to oak in the winery; which, when coupled with its high tannins, makes it a perfect grape to barrel-age and elicit more smoky, savoury notes over the years.
