Sémillon is a white (almost golden) grape native to the Bordeaux region of France, where it’s been used in the production of the famous sweet Sauternes wines for centuries. Sémillon has also now found a home in the New World, most notably Hunter Valley, Australia, where it is used to make stunning dry white wines.
