Gamay is a fabulous red grape which is best grown in Beaujolais (near Burgundy), France. It produces light, fruit-forward red wines, with the better-made examples nevertheless showing a deep complexity. Bursting with red cherries and strawberries, Gamay is a great red wine to match with turkey or game, and can even be enjoyed slightly chilled.
